Emotional Intelligence Training in Business — SIY® certified
YOU...
Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to our ability to recognize, understand, regulate, and express our own emotions, as well as to perceive and respond to the emotions of others. In business, it is one of the skills most strongly correlated with performance and sustainable leadership.
80% of the qualities investors look for in a founder are related to EI—not IQ. Passion, resilience, adaptability, communication, creativity, and decision-making under uncertainty are all skills that can be learned and developed.
“47% of our waking hours, our mind is elsewhere—even during important moments.” — Killingsworth & Gilbert, Harvard, 2010

Step 1 — Calm the body through breathing
Breathing is the only function of the autonomic nervous system that we can consciously control. By modulating its rate and depth, we directly affect the vagus nerve—the body's parasympathetic brake—and reduce cortisol and adrenaline levels.
"Breathing creates mood changes, not the other way around." — Prof. Kraswnow, PhD, Stanford, 2017.
Step 2 — Developing self-awareness and empathy
When we learn to observe our own emotions, we naturally begin to perceive them in others. This is the neurological bridge between self-awareness and empathy—via what are called "mirror neurons," which activate the same brain areas. The SIY® training program structures this journey into four levels, from the most personal to the most relational.
